The NexMind Three-Step Path

Three defined steps, each with a fixed scope and duration. Each step is the condition for entering the next, and none of them commits you to the next one.

  1. Step 1 · 45 minutes · Free

    Diagnostic Session

Clarifies where the real problem is, and whether AI is the answer to it at all.

  2. Step 2 · 3 to 4 weeks · Fixed fee

    Assessment & Roadmap

Four written deliverables — the core of the service.

  3. Step 3 · Optional · After step 2

    Measurable Pilot

Support in implementing the first practical use case.

Step 2

The four written deliverables of step 2

  • Current-state report: key processes, data status, organizational readiness, constraints.
  • A list of use cases prioritized by business value, cost and implementation risk.
  • A first-pilot proposal with success metrics, timeframe and required resources.
  • A privacy and data-security annex tailored to the proposed solutions.

A fixed fee, stated in advance — the final figure appears in the proposal.

Why a consultant, when there's already a technical team?

It's a fair question, and one I expect. I don't sell technical solutions; I sell business prioritization. Your team knows what can be built — that's their expertise, and I don't take its place. What the technical team usually lacks the time and organizational standing for is deciding, at the level of process and business model, which use case is worth doing first, how it will be measured, and what should be set aside for now. My output is a prioritized document that makes the technical team's decision defensible to management.

How the work is done

Tool comparison framework

Every tool is measured against five fixed criteria. The framework is shared with you before work begins, so the reason behind every choice can be checked — it shows the method, not a preference.

  1. Fit with the need

Which specific organizational problem the tool solves.

  2. Total cost of ownership

Beyond the list price: setup, maintenance and training.

  3. Data security

Where data is processed, and whether it leaves the organization.

  4. Vendor lock-in

The cost and feasibility of moving away from the tool later.

  5. Product maturity

Stability, support and a track record in similar organizations.

Disclosure clause

Any formal relationship with a software vendor, and any potential financial benefit, is disclosed in writing; where no such relationship exists, that is stated too.

Standing clause

Privacy and data-security annex

A document attached to every proposal and sent before the technical meeting. It answers three questions:

  1. In the proposed solution, where is data processed, and does it leave the organization's environment?
  2. If an external tool is needed, does it retain the data or use it to train models?
  3. If no data may leave, which options run on the organization's own infrastructure, and how do they differ in quality?

Answer rule: The third question is answered honestly, even when that means some capabilities are limited.

What is put in writing from the start

The roadmap's boundary

The roadmap is a prioritized recommendation based on the information available at the time of the assessment; investment and implementation decisions remain with the organization.

Anonymized case study

For the first two or three clients, permission to publish an anonymized case study is written into the contract from the start: no organization name and no raw data; only the problem, the method and the result.

Your next step
